            Tarong Energy endorses the view that the 10 core principles of the Corporate Governance Guidelines for Government Owned Corporations form a sound platform for supporting good corporate governance practices. Tarong Energy has complied with the best practice recommendations set out in the Corporate Governance Guidelines for Government Owned Corporations.

            Tarong Energy is committed to best practice corporate governance and processes that will enhance Tarong Energy’s effectiveness and ensure the appropriate degree of accountability and transparency to stakeholders.

            Tarong Energy’s values are the foundation of its corporate governance framework and practices. They encourage a culture of responsibility and accountability that promotes ethical and responsible decision making throughout Tarong Energy. Ethical behaviour is the cornerstone of our business processes which are continually reviewed to ensure that they meet best practice, as well as the requirements of the business and our stakeholders.
