            Funding

The relationship between Tarong Energy and the Wakka Wakka people is underpinned by a funding program which is administered by a joint committee called the Aboriginal Community Interest Consultative Committee (ACICC). Projects funded by the ACICC are locally focussed and deliver long-term sustainable outcomes for the South Burnett Aboriginal community.

The ACICC also provides scholarships for high school and tertiary level students based in the South Burnett.

The ACICC produces an annual report detailing the projects that have been funded in the previous year.
